I went to the 20 years anniversary of the label WARP where most of my favourite musicians are signed…

2 stages, first show at 9pm and the last show ending around 5:30am…
we stayed for a while in that place up here where a dj was playing, but by then most people were drinking outside waiting for Leila to begin her show.

so this is her. she’s pretty impressive to watch.. yeah you can’t really see that on a photograph. and mostly a concert shot taken with a 35mm… i only brought that one and i wasnt really there to take photos.

that’s her male singer. i don’t know if he had a technical problem, but he sang off note (or out of tune, i don’t know) most of the time.
here’s a close up of the shot :

the crowd….

then i went to see luke vibert, first row, took one shot before starting dancing my ass off for an hour and a half or something.

then went to see aphex twin & hecker. the set got better and better and it went on for 2 hours. oh, i didn’t mention this is the best sound system i’ve ever “heard”… cité de la musique is super awesome.

interesting projections that i was able to “look at” only through my viewfinder….

and people were excited

so i figured i’d do some abstract pictures

and it got calm again

and then excited again, and then it was over and i had danced again, for quite a while
and i went directly to flying lotus where i was just not able to take any photos because of the fact i was simply uhm… dancing. and i danced so … hard or.. much or… intensively that my whole body is a big pain right now, 24 hours later. but man do i love flying lotus. he lives his music, and i lived it too, for a bunch of dozens of minutes.
have a good week :)
