(syria)
2 days in syria (for some reason i spare you the “happy birthday Zoe-sister” photos…)

Mhammad, 17, sells socks at the taxi station, never went to school, doesn’t speak english, is afraid of water because his brother used to drown him, smokes, doesn’t drink alcohol, wants to marry a french woman and bring her to Syria, doesn’t like local girls, doesn’t like drunks, calls me his sister. His friend is a big fan of motorbikes and showed me a lot of videos on his cellphone including the iranian army doing martial art trainings. They sure can break those bricks with their hands.
ride back to beirut.

This one will be “A)”: http://gonzale.net/blog/wp-content/uploads/2009/11/3836.jpg
And, this one will be “B)”: http://gonzale.net/blog/wp-content/uploads/2009/11/3978.jpg
A) Did you notice that you can discern the same number of adults than childs? 10/10. This take is full of beautiful details. The woman of the center, she’s like the wall that divides two groups, from her, to the right of the image, every persone is superimposed to another one. From her to the left —not including her now— everybody else is also superimposed each other.
The boy in red watching to the one in white in the front. The blond girl from the back seems to be watching to the girl who’s in the center-back of the image, which is, actually looking to the right side, when at the same time we have this boy in white watching the other way and superimposed to her.
I love to look for the details on your photos.
B) I reeeeeaaaaaally like this portrait. It’s just… AMAZING! “BUT”… there’s only one thing that bothers me and it’s the light over his head comming out like a bug’s antenna xP
But, anyway, it’s a huuuuge portrait =D
Done by now… excuse me to fill too much blank, haaa!
